When Refunds Apply
Only where the service could not be delivered due to reasons solely attributable to the Company.
Advance Payments
Used to reserve slots and assign service providers — generally non-refundable once arrangements are initiated.
Non-Refundable
Once a consultation has started, a pooja has been initiated, or travel arrangements have been confirmed.
1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and related matters for services offered by Tirthayatrik Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", "our") on tirthayatrik.com.
By booking any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
2. General Principles
Payments are made for reserving service availability and initiating arrangements. Refunds are provided only in limited circumstances as defined in this policy. Decisions regarding refunds shall be made reasonably and in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
3. Advance Payment & Non-Refundability
Certain services require advance payment (partial or full) to confirm bookings. Advance payments are collected for: reserving time slots, allocating astrologers or pandits, blocking limited availability, and initiating service arrangements.
Once such arrangements are initiated, resources are committed and alternative bookings may be declined. Accordingly, advance payments are generally non-refundable. However, limited exceptions may be considered in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
4. Astrology Services
A consultation is considered delivered once it has commenced or been completed. No refund shall be provided after service commencement. No refund shall be granted for dissatisfaction with predictions, interpretations, or outcomes.
5. Pooja & Ritual Services
A pooja service is considered delivered once it has been scheduled and preparations have begun, or the ritual has been initiated. No refund shall be provided thereafter.
Outcomes of rituals are belief-based and subjective; dissatisfaction does not qualify for a refund.
6. Travel & Pilgrimage Services
Travel services are facilitated through independent third-party providers. Once bookings (such as transport or accommodation) are confirmed, cancellation and refunds are subject to the respective provider's policies.
While we may assist users in coordinating with such providers, refunds (if any) will depend on the terms of those providers.
7. Service Non-Delivery
Refunds may be considered only where the service could not be delivered due to reasons solely attributable to the Company, and no reasonable alternative or rescheduling was provided.
In such cases, the Company may offer rescheduling, or partial or full refund, as deemed appropriate. In cases of partial service delivery, a proportionate refund may be considered.
8. User No-Show / Unavailability
If the user fails to be available at the scheduled time, or does not respond to communication attempts, the service may be treated as delivered, and no refund shall be applicable.
9. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be made before service initiation. Approval of cancellations depends on timing and service status. Even in case of cancellation, advance payments may remain non-refundable as per Clause 3.
10. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling is subject to availability. Requests made at short notice may not be accommodated. Additional charges may apply.
11. Platform & Convenience Fees
Any platform, facilitation, or convenience fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
12. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Users are encouraged to contact us before initiating any chargeback or dispute. In case of chargebacks after confirmed booking or service delivery, the Company reserves the right to contest such claims and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.
13. Refund Processing
Approved refunds shall be processed to the original payment method only. Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days, subject to payment provider timelines.
Any applicable transaction or processing charges may be deducted. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment systems.
14. Duplicate Payments
In case of duplicate payments, the excess amount may be refunded after verification.
15. Service Completion Definition
A service shall be considered delivered when an astrology consultation has commenced, a pooja has been initiated or preparations have begun, or travel bookings or arrangements have been confirmed.
16. Force Majeure
No refund shall be provided for delays or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, temple closures, and technical failures.
17. Policy Visibility
This policy is made available to users prior to booking and forms an integral part of the service agreement.
